I have a digital download of Dishonored. Played mission 1 and 2 without any difficulty. Started the third mission, talked to SlackJaw and then saved to go to bed. Awoke this morning attempting to play Dishonored but upon loading of the game I get the "game date corrupt" message that also implies that I reinstal the game.
Why is the game data corrupt? What causes this corruption? Is there a fix for this corruption? If I bother to remove and reinstal the game are there any garuntees this will not happen again?

Any information would help as I will not touch this game until I have some varification as to the problem. Otherwise this whole expierenece is destroying this game for me.
