Hi everyone.

I'm new down here (this is my first post actually), and I'm not sure my english will be understandable by everyone.
I will introduce myself later, but I have a question for you non-english-speaking-fans.

I downloaded Hearthfire yesterday night, and, surprisingly, it's not dubbed in french. All texts are though, and I understand english just fine, so it's not a big matter, but NPCs now talk french AND english.... kinda RP-breaking, right ?

So, my question : do you know wether this is permanent, or will the french version come later on ?

I'm not whining, that's not totally game-breaking, you know, but, though I'm glad I've got the DLC the same day as the USA, I think it would be a bad move for us french speaking gamers, cause as you surely know, we're kinda bad with english.
No, the biggest problem IMO is that mix of languages which is immesrion-breaking. If the whole game would have been in english it'd've been just fine.

PS : I read the FAQ, so I know that "the language depends on your location" thing, but since everything has been translated up until now, it's a bit more specific.

If french Xbox360 Skyrim customers go directly to Hearthfire in the Xboxlive, they will get the option to buy the DLC in English only.

They should do either of the following to get it in French.

On Xboxlive choose:
Game, S, skyrim, extras, afficher tout, in 9th column at the bottom it says Hearthfire Skyrim (french) and the 11th column it says Hearthfire Skyrim (English)
Or
On PC go to Xbox.com, sign in with profile, search for hearthfire and it should give the english and french options.

Wow, thanks, man, but it means I bought the wrong version of the DLC...
That's... Well. Guess it's my fault, but I don't understand why they put the english version in the main menu of the Xbox Live.
I suppose I can't get my MSpoints back to buy the right DLC ?

You can always try by contacting Xbox support, but I am afraid not.

Thankfully I don't feel as bad as when I bought Arkham City's Harley Queen DLC...
Anyway, I'm enjoying Hearthfire so far. The system is quite rich and interesting, and add a lot to the economic and crafting systems.
