Relatively late in the game -- level is low 60s, main quest is complete. Ysolda is the spouse; some of her specific quest lines (Companion quests, A Night to Remember) are complete. Her behaviour in the original houses is fine -- she's moved between Whiterun, Riften, and Solitude without a hitch.

Manor at Falkreath is built out. I have the dialogue option asking her to move to Lakeside Manor.

Instead, she moves back to Whiterun and wanders the city effectively reverting to her original behaviour.

This seems to be a problem with a few of the spouses such as Ria as of yet I haven't seen anyone post a fix for it.

The only problem I have had with Ysolda as a spouse is how she was apparently tortured by some demented brain surgeon when she gets taken for ransom or whatever (God, what a mess! It's like she suffered like 50 different types of brain trauma...), and how creepily chipper and robotically positive she is about everything...my God, she can't even admit that Riften is a giant cesspool!

I actually moved everyone to Markarth for a few in-game days today and it was quite hilarious...even Ysolda couldn't say anything nice about it, she says something like "I'm just worried, no matter how many times the guards all me that Markarth is safe..." Your kids look absolutely LOST and TERRIFIED when they go "outside to play." I was spying on them (they walk down the stairs from Vlindrel Hall, then walk about 5 feet from the last stair and just awkwardly hover over each other) from a ledge above and, I'm not kidding, I'd wait for 1, 2, or even 3 hours and THEY STILL had not moved!

Ysolda took forever and proactivly travled to my house after I adopted a kid, apparently.

Im building a better house at falkreach, i hope she will let me move her there.
