Help, Dawnguard Won't Work With My Account.

Post » Thu Nov 15, 2012 6:14 pm

I downloaded Dawnguard today and every time I start up Skyrim it disconnects me from Xbox Live. But I can play on my second account (the one I didn't buy Dawnguard with). However my second account never played Skyrim so its pointless. I would like to play on the account I purchased it with or I want a refund. Its upsetting that I cant play the downloadable content that I bought.

Things I tried:

  • Clear system cache.
  • Re-download Dawnguard.

Nothing is working and I need help!

I can play Dawnguard on the second account but every time I try starting up Skyrim on my main account (the one I purchased Dawnguard with) it kicks me offline.

Sounds strange like a problem with your account or something.

Have you tried re-downloading your xbox profile?

If redownloading profile doesn't fix it the it's best to phone xbox support. They're the only ones who can fix any problem with your account or give refunds.

Phone Xbox Live support. That one isn't a Bethesda issue, it's a Microsoft issue.

Yeah I was chatting with someone from support and I had to erase all the corrupted files from my hard-drive and clear the system cache twice. Then they had me recover my profile and it worked! Thanks for the help everyone.
