Gamebreaking Vampire Bug [PC]

Post » Thu Nov 15, 2012 10:48 pm

Guys, I'm experiencing a game breaking bug on the vampire side and was wondering if anyone else has noticed it. When I go to feed on basically anyone who's not asleep (Cattle in the castle, that one dude in the quest), it feeds properly.....and then freezes me in place. Like literally unable to move. I can transform into VL form, I can use the Bat teleport but it doesn't fix it. I can even fast travel or run the COC command to go somewhere else and I am still unable to move. Nothing seems to remedy this and it wouldn't be that bothersome were it not for the fact I HAVE to feed in this way to progress past a quest in the vampire storyline. Has anyone ran into this as well?

Also, I do have SKSE but I've also tried it with that disabled and it still does the same thing. I have no other mods that are related to vampires or anything that I can think of that would cause this issue.

Try hitting "F" (third-person) on and off. Might help? I *think* this happened to me once.

Didn't realize it. Sorry.

Nope. Doesn't work.

EDIT: When I initiated the Feed in 3rd person, it didn't freeze. However, the animation didn't play either.

Unless you're running a completely clean installation of Skyrim and Dawnguard ONLY, don't report 'bugs' like these.

Well, it is a bug. My only mods are texture and weapon mods. Nothing, at all, that would interfere with this action. Either way, the problem is solved as doing it in third person worked fine. It's only first person that's borked.

EDIT: Also, just to make you happy, I just ran Skyrim and Dawnguard, nothing else. Bug is still there.
