Fishing ?

On UESP it states of Hearthfire that it adds;

"New activities, such as farming, fishing, beekeeping, and baking."

Does this mean we can actually fish with rods now ? As well as farm cattle and such ?

Nice. Are there any images of the Dawnguard plot yet ? I also really hope this is the case, that you can fish with rods. I can imagine how relaxing that will be while listening the the games soundtrack.

The fish hatchery does not mean fishing with a pole, so dont get your hopes up. It looks like an active grated container at the end of the dock where you can put aquatic life into and, I assume since it is called a hatchery, the amounts will increase over time. Possibly the same with the bee huts, put bees in there, and after awhile honey may appear.

Pretty disappointing if that turns out to be the case. I mean baking is added which is an actual activity now complete with animation, so maybe fishing with a rod will be included and the hatchery is just where you put the types of fish you want to appear in the lake.

if anything it will probably be like smithing where it is essentially selecting the resources available to you while an appropriate animation is going on in the background
