Wife not moving into house and going home instead.

Hi.
Is there a patch that is supposed to fix the Marriage issues like a Wife not going to my new house(s), and continually going to her original place?
This only started happening when I installed the Hearthfire DLC then attempted to move her into the house(either of the two I have built).

Thanks!

First you get "Spouses Can Live Anywhere" mod that gives you a power to mark your new house as the new residence. Do the power that is from the mod. Then I just get spouse Base ID. Then take your character into the house then type Prid then Moveto Player commands.

Have you adopted any children and if so is the house you are trying to move your wife to suitable for children, they all move together if you have already started a family. If there is just the two of you did you furnish the house with at least the basics. Or you could try moving her to another of the original houses and then moving her to a newly built home. There could also be some mod you already have causing problems.

Sounds like a sure way to stuff up Hearthfire

I used it but it has not messed up my game. I think the HearthFire CTDs are caused by the carpenters benches and load order. Even a house that is mod or not a mod there is a bug when you ask your wife to move to a new home. This is a separate issue.
