Thanks a lot Bethesda... Btw I had only been playing for about an hour so I know it didn't overheat! Also my Xbox is less than a year old

No that is the poor quality code breaking things.

Exactly what was thinking, but the worse thing isn't that it got rid of my skyrim save files, it's that it got rid of ALL my data! So I'll these years of gaming on Xbox have just been ruined, I guess I'll get to redownloading EVERYTHING and selling a few games that I love but have, lost all data on...

Wow seriously? That's sad. Have you tried calling Xbox's customer service? Gstaff suggested that for corruption of xbox saves.

In what realm of reality are you in that this issue is the OP's fault? His only mistake was buying a piece of DLC and expecting it to work.

I've been reading a lot about the glitch that causes this to happen, and my only question is how does Bethesda get away with this kind of crap, releasing a product that could possibly cost people years of progress in games not to mention ANYTHING they might have on their harddrives.

Every time someone buys a new game and the console breaks, they blame the last game they played. Yet everyone else has no issues with the game breaking their console or hard drive.

That's not what I've heard^

Skyrim has several problems with its interactions with the hardware. To use my own experience as an example, when I launch Skyrim, I have to wait for the HDD/Disc check to finish before loading a game. If I don't, the HDD will continue at 100% until it shuts down the system (I've only let it get that far once, now if it happens I immediately turn it off myself). Skyrim is the only game that this happens with.

Better luck next time but srsly what makes you sure it's the DLC's fault i can as much be something wrong with your Xbox besides such things happens.
