I see Hearthfire as just the beginning.

Sure only three homes in only the three holds doesn't seem like much, but I see this as Bethesda just testing the waters. I have a feeling if Hearthfire sells well, we will see a expanded versions with more homes in more holds. Who knows maybe even our own town. Might me just wishful thinking, but my gut tells me I'm right.

Note to self.. Do not buy it.. I want expansions into High Rock and Morrowind or a Daedric Realm.. Not home ownership in the wild

But what Poohunter said below me.. I agree with what he said

I think hearthfire is just a tiny add-on to keep players occupied until the next "big" DLC.

That's a possibility, but if it sold amazingly well I doubt they would ignore that.

In Oblivion, they had small DLCs (new locations to use as a home, and [hate mentioning this] horse armor) yet, they still got a huge expansion like the Shivering Isles in there. Hearthfire is only the appetizer. We will be getting a feast soon enough. :celebration:

I said this two days ago, I think, and to me this DLC was a middle finger to Microsoft because it is such a small DLC.

Doesn't mean they couldn't expand on it as extra content in a large DLC about one of those things.
