From what iv'e heard there is only 3 plot's of land for sale

yes three plots, i know one in is in the pale the other falkreath
not sure on the third
they are in areas where you cannot buy a house

I could've sworn it said multiple plots within 3 of the selected holds, but I could have been wrong. Will check again.

I believe you can buy more than one property, I remember reading something along the lines of " Buy multiple plots of land to build an easte empire".

That's what I read as well. Only three plots of land isn't exactly a well economic empire.

Well, if indeed you can build houses in three places, plus five houses, plus cushy digs in Winterhold, that's nine homes in all. A small real estate empire, anyway.

That link says nothing about multiple plots of land throughout the holds. It says exactly the same thing that's on the official page for the DLC.

As far as I've seen, there's nothing that confirms whether or not there's only three plots of land total, or multiple plots within three holds. For all we know, there could be a dozen plots total.

I find it hard to believe that Bethesda released all information about the DLC in the trailer. Which leads me to believe there will be houses in all holds but they just mainly talked about the 3 plots we saw.

Agree with this, they probably just didn't list all the holds in the description. I find it difficult to believe they would have a whole house building system as DLC and then limit it to three plots.

Well, The Dawnguard trailer said nothing of

the Falmer being included in the DLC, but they turned out to be a major part of the main quest. So maybe Hearthfire will feature a lot of things not mentioned in the trailer.
