I was wondering if that Update.esm is still needed or has it been merged into the skyrim.esm by now?

put it after dawnguard and who cares?

But to answer seriously, Yes it is. The Dawnguard ESM requires it.

It hasn't been merged and it looks like it won't be as *Dawnguard.ESM has it as a secondary master.

*It must load before Dawnguard.ESM and after Skyrim.ESM

Thank you,.. just trying to figure out what I can't even get into Fort Dawnguard at all

I have an

Intel Core i7 950 @ 3.07 Ghz
24 gigs ram
a new Geforce 680 2gig version

It seems to make no difference if I unload all my mods or leave them loaded
I even tried unloading my body replacers and that changed nothing

I cant play the game properly and I'm trying to find out why I get the attacks and all the other game breaking
events that kill NPC's etc but cant get into the fort, so ALL I've seen is Dayspring canyon and the vamp's that trash my world

And the most insulting part is not a word from the powers that be

Edit:

Ment to ask
Does anybody know if texture replaces can or would cause CTD's where Dawnguard is concerned?
things like UNP, Skyrim HD 0 2k Textures, armor and weapon re textures and the likes
