I have the same issue. I would like the answer to this please... I'm currently deleting and reinstalling the game and Dawnguard so as to make sure all my mod files are gone.

I emailed Bethesda over a week ago, no reply.

Any modders know the answer? Maybe I'll check NM later to see if they have a door hotfix.

I solved this problem.
Deleting and reinstalling the entire game, all patches, and Dawnguard let it work (new characters, deleted old saves). Apparently I had mod files in there that were affecting it (I'm guessing). The game does look worse without an ENB.

Before you go deleting your characters, I'd like to point out that I have also had this issue, and I've tried almost everything. Console commands, resetting the quest and starting over, blah blah blah, nothing worked

HOWEVER, on my other character, I was able to enter the keep without any problems whatsoever. There must be an issue that is not being looked at, since I did nothing different between characters but one was able to get in and the other was not.

Okay, I (and by I, I mean someone else told me) figured it out. If you are at an area that's within the DLC, leave and go somewhere else (such as whiterun, or whatever). Save your file, and exit the game. When you're opening the game back up, go to Data Files and disable the Dawnguard DLC. Open the game back up, and re-save. Close the game, Re-enable dawnguard, and start the questline over again. This should fix the problem, at least it did for me!

I tried to do an workaround if you want to be a vampire ^_^ sometimes the console commands are pretty useful

A was at the point where i stood at the door and could not open it if i remember it right i used follow commands
  • setstage DLC1VQ02 10
  • setstage DLC1VQ02 40
  • movetoqt DLC1VQ02

You will miss some Bla Bla at the inner gate but you should spawn directly at the point where the vampire lord greets you (just accept to be reVampirisiered again and then the normal quest blabla should start) From now on the front gate is usable.

Hope this helps others to

Ps: sorry for the bad English
