The very first wayshrine doesn't let you take water from it so I can only get 4/5 of them making the quest I'm possible to beat. I've even loaded back to saves from before I entered the cave and it still doesn't work. Does anyone know a work-around yet or if Bethesda has said anything about a patch for it?

You mean the shrine at the end of Darkfall Passage or one of the Shrines in the Forgotten Vale?

it's the shrine at the end of Darkfall Passage. There isn't an option there to take water but it lets me go into the Forgotten Vale. I got the 4 after that place and then had to fast travel out and the marker led me back to the end of Darkfall Passage

I've experienced a glitch similar-ish to your glitch I think. My quest marker said go through a portal to another shrine, when I went through the portal, the quest marker said to go back through the portal I came from and put me in a cycle. It soon enough told me to go the the Glacial Crevice and through it, where the last shrine is. So there's six shrines (actually seven) one in Darkfall Passage, four in the Vale, and one after you go through the Glacial Crevice.

Theres one last one that is extremely hard to find. ^ And yes there are more than 5, so the last one is probably the one you need. If that fails load a previous save.

is the Glacial Crevice by where the two dragons spawn? Where the word wall is?

I don't really remember, but I don't think its near there. Its somewhere off.......to the side I think. On one playthrough I had to climb a mountain to get there. Another playthrough, I just walked on flat ground to get there.
