Yeah, but that happened to me a lot in vanilla Skyrim. It has been doing that a lot more, though.

Yes it happened to me. Although it seems dawnguard is rehashing a lot of old bugs and glitches

ONE FIX FOR A LOADING BUG ERROR i HAD WITH A CUSTOMER AT XBOX SUPPORT.

Hello, I work for Xbox support and today I had a customer come to me with a similar issue, Xbox does not publish or support this game and typically we would refer you here for support, but being the great Xbox support we are we do try to help as much as we can. On this note, I actually worked with one of the many of you that came to me, and I decided to start writing a let for my customer to copy and paste here for additional help, as you would know it we did fix the problem so I never had to give it to him, but I figured why not share the letter I was going to have him post here as to the trouble shooting we did together, so you can all try it out and see what I would have you do before sending you here. Again I wrote this with the perspective that I was my customer, so he could cut/paste it. So here it is.

"Hello fellow Xbox Skyrim Dawnguard fans. I purchased, the latest Dawnguard file from my Xbox 360 console device. However, I am trying to use an offline account that has never been used to access Xbox Live, so it is not one that can be recovered. When I try to play the new Dawngaurd content with this offline account I go to the Skyrim home page and press start and then I get this error: downloadable content please wait then the game freezes and the music stops playing.

I have contacted Xbox Customer support and they had me clear my System cache two times. We deleted my Marketplace system data file from the system items folder. We checked the hard drive to confirm the file was their, but then they had me back up all my saved games to a USB storage unit and then after we checked the files were there we removed it from the console. We then checked all of the hard drive for corrupted content and there were none found. We deleted all my Skyrim content, the whole folder. I hopped on my orignal purchase gamertag (the online profile) and then proceeded to download the file again to the console. I originally purchased this content on this console so there was no need for a license transfer as this console has the licenses for the game.

We went to my main online account, and from the Download History, we redownloaded the Dawnguard update. We signed out of that account then signed back into my off line account I was able to access the game now with out freezing. So the agent had me replace my USB storage device back into the console and copy my saved game file that was associated with my offline account back to the hard drive and the Skyrim folder.

We were prompted to download the game update (since we cleared the cache). This is the message "this save game was created on a later version of skyrim. Please download any updates." We downloaded the update, and it now keeps coming back as needing an update. I was stuck in a loop of downloading this update. We cleared the cache twice again. The same issue keeps occurring of the endless looping for an update.

We proceeded to sign in to my Live Account, then use that account to go into the game, then we were able to re download the update through this account. I signed out of this account went back to my offline account and signed in. It now works."

Thank you Xbox Support, your the best.
Ok that last line was all for me, but I hope this helps you guys out.
