So I was walking around windhelm doing a dawngaurd quest and one of the homeless looking NPC's said "I used to be the greatest soldier in the army until I took a sword to the chest"
A sword to the chest?! Jeez, from an arrow to a sword, whats next a frostbolt to the elbow? Anyone heard any others?

Not new, he's always said that.

That's been there for ages. Since the game was released.

In the Dawnguard main quest, however, when you talk to the Breton woman who you need to hire to the Dawnguard (her name escapes me), she says;

"Have you seen a satchel of Dwemer gyros anywhere? I was sure I had left it over here... do you think Mudcrabs took it? I saw one the other day."

The NPCs in Oblivion had such silly conversations.

Well I hadn't heard any others, but the sword to the chest isn't new. I heard that long before Dawnguard was even announced.

that guy has always been there. he is not new.

I heard this line even on release day 11/11/11. Nothing new here.

Maybe we can get a few more people to reply that this line was in there from day one.

I took an arrow to the knee the other day and my character kept pushing on.

I saw some adventurers like me. To see if they would become guards, I shot them with an arrow to the knee.

What about the line where the guy says he's finally feeling better. "Dumb archers."
