I'm absolutely disgusted.

Today, I got in with my hard earned money and bought some Microsoft Points. I then purchased the new 'DawnGuard' Add-on for Skyrim. Great. Downloads good. I go to play the new add-on, and, oh no. For some reason, the guy who is supposed to run up to you in a city, doesn't. No matter, I'm sure its on the map somewhere, I'll YouTube it and find its location. Oh no. The place where you enter the cave doesn't exist on my game. on ALL characters. I can't find out information from guards either.

WHAT do I do? it says none-refundable, but tbh, if it doesn't work, I think I'm more than entitled to my damn money back.

You should calm your pretty ass down and give them a week or so to patch it dude. Xbox got the DLC a month early and we're the test batch. Report your bugs instead of being a [censored] so things can get fixed and you can get your money back. ANd for the record, your ass must be doing something wrong cause it's working perfectly for me and it's already worth my money.

Also the cave doesn't show up on your up map. Go talk to innkeepers and guards and such about rumors. Maybe try redownloading the latest system update. If you don't know how go to your settings, hit memory, then when it asks which item to use press ";LB, RB, X, LB, RB, X"

A week to patch it? I paid £15 for this extra bit, I'm not made of money, I want it to work when I buy it, not in a months time. We aren't the test, that's what Beta is for. And for the record, please tell me what magical thing I'm supposed to do to get this DLC working? I'm presuming yours worked straight away, mine hasn't. I followed the instructions, so back off.

I'm doing that as we speak, so hopefully that will fix it. If not, then I'm out of ideas.

Actually no LOL I had to do some work to get it to download and function properly ;) Just chill dude. So they didn't catch everything in beta. It's not like glitches this bad can go unnoticed for very long. Damn why's everyone so worried about instant gratification..

Yep. So I redownloaded it, spoke to some guards, still nothing. Guess I should just give up. How do I complain and get some technical help from them on this?

Im a lvl 18

Was notified by a DG warrior as I was standing next to the inn in Riverwood.

In earlier playing I overheard guards talking in Riften, Whiterun etc

My first playthru was as lvl 20

What I have found is that you dont need more than 5 saves on your xbox and you need to keep your system cache cleared.

This is more a patch 1.6 issue that the DLC itself.

Hey there -- if you downloaded the DLC while the game is running, make sure to restart the game before attempting to play. You should see a "loading add-ons" message after reloading Skyrim.

My boyfriend got the "recruiter" when he played, but I didn't. A guard I walked past gave me the rumor about Dawnguard and that's how I got the location. And then I got attacked by three vampires in Windhelm right after that. :P
