Is anyone having a problem unlocking shouts since the DLC? : V

It says I have one dragon soul, however when I try to unlock a shout it says I need souls?

Yes, but my problem is that they don't seem to want to work when I use dragon language during combat. They've always been twitchy, but they are even more so now.

Well, I seem to have the porblem where I cannot use the third or sometimes the second word of a shout.

when I tried to summon Durneviir in Tamriel, it wouldn't let me due to the third shout not working.
