Hearthfire paves way for new locations to build up?

Helgen is gone, destroyed by Alduin. Inhabited by bandits.. but what if they were to be turfed out, and the land made ours? I personally want to see Helgen converted into an arena of some description; or a fight pit. Think about it:
It has two doors for separate fighter barracks (the keep), and the circular ring in the centre.. i.e. where we nearly died.
Any thoughts? Skyrim needs competitive fighting of some description.. and this is a good way to utilise the land.
If turfing out the bandits is not plausible.. then perhaps they could be the ones who control the arena/pit??

Just a thought, have a nice day! :)

I'd rather use it as a base for a bandit gang type scenario. We could tax trade from Falkreath and Riften and Whiterun. Hell, maybe we could earn it and actually oust all the other bandits in the regions because people are paying us for protection.

You know, like a standard extortion racket.

Would love a path where i wasn't 'the one..'
Sounds like a swell idea, BGS have a habit of subtly pushing us to the good side of things.

Not really, I mean the Dark Lunatic-hood isn't good in any way shape or form, and this game's thieves' guild was immoral; I just don't like either of them.

But I can see where you're coming from.

Also, I find it hilarious I dislike organized death matches more than organized crime.

Only to find that an attempted murder of yours, is actually an essential character.
Kinda takes the fun out of the 'robbing and killing' scenario.
I would like a quest line associated with a bandit clan.

With The Dark Brotherhood, you are made The Listener. In their context, that's like the holy grail of the one.

Yeah, it's no fun without quests. Even some cheap radiant quests to rob a caravan or waylay rivals without any overarching story would be cool. I would love a full quest arc, but it wouldn't be necessary.

Edit: I hate the whole night mother slash sithis schtick the Brotherhood has. I'm fine with being a killer for hire, but count me out of any religious cults. Same goes for thieves guild, it was all good up until Karliah showed up and derped her herp about nocturnal. Would've been way cooler to betray the guild with Mercer Frey and then betray him, leaving the guild broken and you richer than Maven.

I am pretty sure that the Arena is now gone.

However they have 2 Dlc's to get it back.

Could be a gateway into introducing some fighting styles and an unarmed tree.
The Rain-Of-Sand.
Goutfang, Whispering Claw, Rawlith Khaj. I would pay for that.
