Hello, I went back today to check on the dark brotherhood sanct to see if I had stuff stored there and every time I try to enter it, it freezes. I restarted box several times and no matter what I do it freezes... I can see the auto save shows me inside but I try to load that and it freezes... So can we get a fix for that? or is it just my character? I have two toons both of which cannot finish stuff because of stupid glitches... First cant do thieves guild, can we get a way to drop quests and pick them back up?

So, if someone can test if its just me that would be great thanks.

Try turning off the "Save on Travel" setting in Settings, Gameplay.

I had an issue similar to this and it helped me.

same thing happened to me, unfortunately i couldnt find a fix and had to leave it. it could be due to autosave but i'm not too sure. it happened to me before at different places but after restarting my xbox i could load up an autosave in the place i tried to enter. when i tried it with the db santuary it would just freeze again

Thanks Brenson, and yes the same happens to me... it is my first toon so I just wonder if its not from starting before some patches took place... Thnxs to you both though...

No problem.

I had the same thing happen. Never found a fix, deleted the save and it went away after patch 1.6.

Came back with Dawnguard when I couldn't load my main guy. No fix either, had to delete and roll back.

Use MANY save slots so you CAN roll back.

Losing 20 hours svcks, losing your character svcks worse.

.... Ok here is what I did and didnt do lol... well first turned save on travel off... I also noticed I was trying to travel through front door ... Using the door at the back near the top of the map let me right in.... I was trying the front and would get the freeze, so it was either neither or both things that helped.... Thanks to everyone that helped, I had a ton of stuff in there inculding the jester outfit

I think the autosave function is wounded ever since the download. I would definitely try turning it off and going back to the Sanctuary.
