Well, when you want Serana to beat you before entering the reminder of souls (i don't know if it's written that way in english, i'm from spain), when you finally become a vampire, if you're wearing a hood, it disapears and there's a bald patch instead. I'm wearing the thieves guild hood. It's really annoying because i wanted to become a vampire at that moment but i want to wear a hood as well. Anybody knows if there's a patch thats fixes that? Thank you and excuse my english.

i hate this too i dont even want to wear the guild master hood because of that

They have not fixed it and I believe it's on every system. I guess it was never important enough.

If you're on pc there's a mod that fixes it

It's a bug that's been around before Dawnguard. You can however kind of cheat.. and wear the thieves guild hood and wear another head piece over it. You get the effects of the hood plus whatever else you're wearing. The shrouded hood from the dark brotherhood is not bugged.

I actually have 2 hoods and the Shrouded Cowl getting something like 70% damage to my bows thanks to that

haha did not know about this exploit. It's interesting but I prefer the appearance. I like to just sit there and stare at my character every 10minutes xD

yes, i knew about the exploit but my vampire/thieve is not a monk i prefer the appearance too

If you are a vampire or vampire lord, the thieves guild hood will not render correctly nor is it marked as using up a head piece slot. So in this case you are able to wear the thieves guild hood along with another piece of head gear.

I used to wear the ancient shrouded hood but I switched my look up a little more to be a cross between assassin + necromancer. I wear the forsworn headpiece (female) for the horns (current avatar picture).
