That perfect character

Post » Thu Nov 15, 2012 4:48 pm

As I am out of town, I have not even downloaded the DLC yet. What I can do is visit the forums. Im sure someone will test out the cure then get a facelift and then become a vamp again.
I thought a thread with some tips might be helpful? I have used other ppls tips and I think my characters are more what I want them to be. Please add your own.
1. Turn up the brightness in the setting, change it back before you do skintone.
2. Pick the preset closest to what you want, get rid of hair, scars, warpaint and make-up.
3. Pick out your eyes, nose and mouth 1st, they will change slightly as you move other settings so pay attention.
4. Move the head around, you can't get a full profile on x-box, but it's very close. Remember to go up and down as well. Use the different screens to get slightly different perspectives.
5. When you THINK you have what you want, put the hair style on the character, change the brightness setting to what you will be playing at, leave the room and go do something for a couple minutes. ( I try for at least 10 min) You will notice things you don't like quicker that way.

As I haven't yet played Dawnguard I don't know the mechanics of the "plasctic surgeon", but if it works the same way with less options, some of these tips should help. Please feel free to add your own tips.

The point of posting this in the Dawnguard spoilers forum was what? This has nothing to do with the actual DLC.

Actually it does if you've read the thread about changing your characters looks in Riften. Some ppl are looking foward to being able to change things they are unhappy with. Someone that has already done so may be able to give realy good tips on how to do so. JMO

But then there's also five other threads about that over two sub-Forums. Either way you look at it, there was no point to this thread. OP could have easily used the "Search" function and gotten the answers he craves rather than further clogging this sub-Forum.

It doesn't matter whether this helpful to people or not. It's off topic for the forum since all it is just tips on character creation to not have an ugly character. The poster said they haven't even played Dawnguard yet. This belongs in any of the general forums really, just not this one.
