Spear Animation : V

Hey quick fun fact I'm at the Dawngaurd base and 2 of the gaurds are standing in a position as if their holding spears yet their are no spears speculate and give me feedback

A bug maybe its odd they would have put in a spear animation with no spears.

Um, well, they've got the At-Rest animation down. So that's good news. I suppose the next step is to get the polearm animations down.

Not really. Spears are a weapon you thrust forward, rather than swinging side to side (if you intend to use the pointy part). They don't have a blade on their sides, like swords or axes. I think you'd hold it very differently than other two-handed weapons.

he never said they were doing any thrusting though. just standing there... as guards

I know, but if their weapons were drawn, you'd still hold the weapon very differently than you'd hold any of the two-handed weapons we have now.
