I read theres a guy in the ratway in Riften that can change how you look, but I dont want to read anymore without spoiling it for me, so I went to the Ratway and looked for the person but couldnt find them, so do they appear as I get further into the questline? Or do I have to beat the entire story for him to appear?

they are actually in the ragged flaggon, go there and they are on the dock area

You can't change your appearance as a vampire, just a heads up.

Dang I just found out the hard way, but luckily I made a save right before becoming a vampire and Im not that far into the story, so it all works out.

yeah, that was kind of a let down.....but all is good in vampire lord form

That kinda disapoined me, but from what I hear you can cure yourself and become a vampire lord again at the end of the main quest.
One person said no matter how many times you cure yourself you can still become a VL after, don't know if it's true or not.
So it seems it's no problem curing yourself, changing your appearance. and becoming a VL again.
