i deleted my xbox profile thinking it was corrupted and then tried to download it again only to find that the xbox server has gone down. so i was thinking of making a new profile on xbox live and then playing skyrim from scratch again because all my saves are with my other xbox profile that i can't access right now. but i just want to make sure that is i save the game with the new xbox profile onto my hdd it wont effect my saves on the hdd from my other profile even though i cant see them. i think it will be ok but i just want to make sure after the amout of hours i've put into skyrim.

p.s. im only going to be playing this new profile until the xbox server is up again so that i can download my old xbox profile again and then download Hearthfire.

Don't delete your profile, I never do anything that crazy. (soon we might be able to log-in again)

it wont affect your old saves but unless you can get your old profile back you wont be able to use your prvious saves

No, it will not effect them as they will be saved under a new profile.

P.S: Xbox live is down, your old account is not corrupted, recover it when it is up later.

yeah i know my profile is not corrupt but it happened once before and i got told by xbox support to delete and download again. i thought it happened again today so i deleted it then couldn't download again because the server is down. i only found out when i tried to contact xbox live on the pc.i know i'll get my old profile back once the server is up and running again. sods law!
