Anyone not have Dawnguard Bugs?

Post » Thu Nov 15, 2012 5:07 pm

Just curious if there's anyone out there on the PC that is not experiencing any game-breaking bugs? and, has anyone, that is bugged to death, started DG at around level 10 and before the companion's quest?

Trying to narrow this down maybe.

I haven't had any game breaking bugs.
Only game breaking bugs I've had were Vanilla Skyrim bugs (Blood on Ice specifically)

The only one I noticed was vampires killing poor old Belethor. I was tired of that PC anyways, so I started a new character. Level 8 with zero bugs......yet.

Only bug with dawnguard for me was slow-motion dragons - but only on xbox360
Nothing relevant on pc until now - but depends from what you intend for game breaking of course - not an alchemy lab in one of my homes if you ask me

I started Dawnguard with a level 8 character. Just completed the questline at level 30. During that time I have encountered one hard freeze where I had to kill the program with task manager, and that was soon after I started the DLC. No crashes at all. I cannot purchase the Alchemy lab in Breezehome, which is a nuisance but doesn't break the game. The first time I returned to Fort Dawnguard my new comrades were fighting some Vampires and then attacked me for no reason, I sheathed my sword and they stopped attacking. Not sure what causes that behavior, but it never happened again. No other problems encountered at all. I never joined the companions.

Not had any game breaking bugs in 300+ hours of play, must be one of the lucky ones...

I've played 562 hours so far with the same character, level 52 battlemage and never had any game breaking bugs. I feel sorry for all these people having so much troubles with their game. :brokencomputer:

No bugs; no problems; nothing!
Level 68 Breton, 600 hours plus...
Running USKP v1.2 and also the new UDGP.
Beautiful!
I've REALLY been enjoying Dawnguard too - it's epic.
Just created the Aetherial Crown at the Aetherium Forge.

I have about 390 hours in on 2 characters, 40+ mods all HD textures played on Ultra Settings with steady 60 fps. I've only had had 2 CTD's, the 1st was on opening carraige ride (fixed by changing audio Hz) and the 2nd was at final civil war battle. I just finished Dawngaurd lastnight and the only bug was Serana losing follow dialog (fixed by waiting 72 hours). I had way more problems playing Oblivion!

In one playthrough of the Dawnguard side, I only remember one minor bug, (Gunmar would not spawn in Fort Dawnguard, solved it by reloading outside) but nothing game-breaking.

I don't. Of course the damn thing hasn't come out for me yet  reading this forum though makes me think it isn't as ridden with all the bugs and problems Beth has been telling us.
Yeah say I'm trolling I just like to keep up with the news and see if there's any indications of what bethey ran into for PS3. Though I might get a better idea if I go to the 360 forums.

Nothing game breaking for myself. Some annoying bugs, yes. Some sigh worthy bugs. Game-breaking I think is going to primarily be related to the massive pit of UDRs or the LOD fail on some textures.

Hmm, I guess there is a fair argument that the vampire radiant quests repeating targets [or Arcwind Point for Words of Power] may be gamebreaking. I put them under manageable for the PC [it's easy enough to use the console to force-complete them]. But I can concede those as gamebreaking.

The only game-breaking bug I ran into was every (allied) vampire attacking me without reason, might have been something to do with a bounty I had. After paying it off, it went ahead without any more serious glitches. The game did crash at one point, but I'm pretty sure that was the mods on my PC that caused that.
