Have normal vampires been buffed to much?

Stage 4 vamps won't be attacked by NPC's on sight and on that stage, you only have a 50% weakness to fire instead of 100%. That means that my dark elf vamp at stage 4 does not have any weakness at all to fire.

I'm sure there are more buffs to normal vamps that i havn't listed to.

What do you think? Do you feel that bethesda may have gave to much buffs to normal vamps? Maybe they should have added some other disadvantages even though they took away the hostile npc's at stage 4, etc.

Can you please list all the buffs and debuffs? I can't really make an answer for you.

Well... Max Frost Resistance and Max Fire Damage were reduced to 50%. People won't attack you as a stage 4 vampire. That's it?

And now back to vampirism general discussion:
I miss those features. They should have changed max Frost Resistance to 50% while remaining 100% Fire Damage. Being a vampire should be a challenge. At least with necromage perk Stamina/Health/Mana regenerates even more slowly and you get a larger hit to your stats. My 170HP vampire has 85 or 95 HP in stage 4 outside. I noticed that "The Lady" sign stopped counteracting my stunted Health and Stamina effect after I took necromage.

Oh, one more thing! Vampire Seduction let's you feed on a person while he/she is standing.
I haven't joined the DLC Vampire Faction yet, we're talking about normal vampirism which was already present in Skyrim.

Yes I know we are talking about normal vamps. I heard they got a overhaul and didn't know what was changed besides the stage 4 thing. Thanks for some of the info. Care to present anymore with some specifics(like is vampire seduction one day only?).

Yeah it's once a day. Person is kinda dizzy and you can feed, but obviously everyone around you gets mad and you get bounty. And not everyone gets affected (NPC up to level 18 it says)
