ImperialVampire Skin Tone Bug

Post » Thu Nov 15, 2012 11:40 pm

Does anybody have a fix yet for this bug? Seems to only affect male bretons and imperials. Rather than get pale skin, it turns very dark. Character looks like a redguard now. Doesnt happen with any other race. This is NOT the same thing as the Female Nord burnt face bug, this seems to glitch the skin tone alogether. Been all over Google, and while ppl are very aware and annoyed by it, nobody seems to have found a solution. Perhaps transforming into a vampire lord could reset it? To see what I mean, make a male imperial with light skin. Go get infected and turn into a vampire. Your guy gets so bronze, he looks black, lol. Yet NPCs will comment on my ”snow white skin”. Really kinda kills the immersion for me :/

Maybe I will try one of those races. One major reason I have not been able to enjoy being a vampire is the skin is just way to pale for me. That and the black lips. I'm a vampire not a 16 year old goth kid.

Yeah , the whole transvestite goth kid look is a no go, hence why my orc assassin will be my vampire char, hes already ridiculously ugly.

Well the paleness stems from the lack of sunlight... I agree with the lips though, my character had very pale lips and it suited the character, the blood red lips is very off putting. Especially when I look at Serana and see hers look normal...

I've read tha this only happens to brets and imps the first time they become a vamp.Maybe you could try and reload an earlier save?
Anybody else having this issues with imperial vampires?
