BFG Edition has ROE weapons :D

The Doom3: BFG Edition will have the two barreled shotgun, and the grabber!

Also, they are making hell look more "mystic" and less like being inside a volcano.
It's brighter now, and not in a bad way, it looks... idk, classic? Has a more "nostalgic" feeling:

From the looks of these, they decided to make hell a more classic look, rather than it looking like a different dimension. In a way I like it, but to me the level of geometric detail seems really low compared to the original Doom3 hell. In these screens, the architecture seems more square and fake.

But still, I am eager to play through this new hell and have fun.

Edit: Oh and... these are from the facebook page for DOOM, so you might've already seen this. Still, I remember someone asking for these weapons in the BFG Edition, so there ya go.

Uhh, yeah, it does. Since, you know, it has ROE in it.

I meant
I thought the screenshots might be from the lost mission, rather than ROE. Have you played ROE, are these screenshots from ROE? I ask because I actually haven't played ROE. I thought these might be from the new "Lost Mission"

Although, if these are from ROE, that would explain why the geometry in some places looks poor, the third parties never do as good a job as id.

I don't recall those shots in ROE. But then again, it's been awhile since I've played it.

Nice. The DB shotgun is a nice thing to have in original Doom3. And the grabber is a handy way to kill everything non-zombie too :hehe: Except pinkies. And Mancubi, i don't think you can catch their fireballs?

And i like those new Hell shots. Look a bit more like the classic Dooms' Hell

That shot with the Grabber and the stairway looks like the opening of the original's Hell. Grabber in original D3? Hmm.

A friend of mine, a hardcoe DOOM scholar said that The Grabber was planned for the original D3, but was scrapped because it would've destroyed the athmosphere. He also says that it was in some early promos. The devs said that they were using it to place objects in the levels, to make the thrashed ones look more realistic.
