The code on the whiskey crate is 782. That is obviously the one intended for the safe? However its wrong and I had to find the right one with google. The correct code was which isnt even near it! And I looked everywhere around to make sure.

I had no trouble with this.. I typed the code that was directly behind the whiskey bottles, right behind the safe itself - it was the right code though I do not remember the exact combination.

As the OP posted, I never saw the code on my screen since I also had the gamma turned down as instructed. Have it turned up a notch, now.
