well if the rumors are true, my adoptive kids and wife will not survive if they can be killed by the enemies that attack the house area, so far ive been attacked by a blood dragon, elder dragon, a mudcrab, a bandit crew, and a bear... and im still in the building phase of the house... anyone have a family yet and can confirm the rumors false or not?

gamesas's official stance with Children is "They can't be killed."

This doesn't mean it can't happen off-screen, but I seriously doubt that any adoptive children will be "killed" in a random attack. At least from anything that's official by gamesas.

Give the kids weapons? As they can not be killed that sounds like an excellent idea, give them an decent weapon and send them outside to play with the dragons, sooner or later they will kill it unless it flies away.
Can the kids be hurt and knocked down like essential npc or are they immune to damage? If they are immune they would be perfect tanks.

Just make sure to hire some beast of a guard to guard your house, some from the companions guild sounds good enough :)

So far I've had Elk, Blood Dragon, a Mudcrab and Serveral Wolves attack my house. None of them did anything though, this is why we should have guards we can hire.
