What is the base damage of a steel and Dwarven crossbow? : V

Hey guys, I'm just comparing crossbows to regular bows, but I need to know the base damage of both a steel crossbow, and a dwarven crossbow. Does anybody know? Any answers would be greatly appreciated

i dont have the dwarven one yet but my steel one is upgraded to legendary and it does like 94 damage. id imagine the dwarven one would be more than that

Do you know what your archery skill is?

I'm pretty sure the base crossbow damage is 22 and the dwarven one does the same damage but does egnores 50% armor.

22? The daedric bow has a base damage of 19. Seems like the crossbows really do pack a punch. Might be a bit too powerful at early levels though.
