things I would like see added to dawngaurd.

Post » Fri Nov 16, 2012 9:12 am

*Dawngaurd upgrades their crossbows based on the scematics you have found(not exploding bolts cause that might be overpowered) but up to enhanced dwarven crossbow,

*more dawngaurd weapons(the corssbow is their varient on a bow and they already have a dawngaurd war axe and war hammer)

*the guy who seels dawngaurd armor sells dawngaurd weapons

* new silver weapons, or atleast being able to temper the sword and greatsword ( I feel like silver weapons goes with the them of this dlc)

*more scmatic quests(maybe a silver crossbow)

I would like to see off the point of dawngaurd specic werewolf enimes in the wilderness very rarly but you never see them outside of the companions questline it woule be a fun enemy to add.

these are just some of the things I ether wiesed dawngaurd had or could be added in future patches.

It would be expensive to do so.

Armourers simply don't make Everything

More silver weapons? ok. This is something that makes some sense.

A silver crossbow? Why would someone make a crossbow out of silver? It's not a good material to use for such a thing.

Specic werewolf enemies? You mean wild werewolves? (not werebears >:( )

I think Dawnguard has more than enough substance for 20 bucks. Nothing needed from me.

I notice your proposed ideas are all weapon and item related. There nothing gameplay-wise you would have liked?

I would like to see a follow up DLC that doesnt take 8 months to get (9 if youre a PC or PS3 user). And not junk DLC either. I would think, or at least like to believe, that a second DLC drop of equal or greater content as Dawnguard could be ready within the next 4 or 5 months.

I really liked it gameplay wise at the very least it would be nice to see more dawngaurd themed weapons,( but I also disliked how I could only find the dawngaurd weapons in the fort and could not buy them, felt it was odd) on a side note the olny wild werewolf I have ever seen was durring the comapnions and they were always locked up in silver hand forts.

i feel like it will be out within 6 cause with dawngaurd they had to 1 take a break after skyrim was done, 2 see how it was doing, 3 release patches, 4 decide what dlc they were going to do, they have proboly already started on the next dlc by now so it should be out quicker than dawngaurd.

I'm not sure upgrading silver weapons at the smithy is actually a good idea.

You realize you can enchant them right?
Enchanting a silver greatsword plus the inherent bonus against undead plus all your perks and skill with the weapon makes them pretty decent at their specialized task already.

New silver weapons would be cool though... actually I just want silver crossbow bolts.

well most of the things I proposed I thought were doable add ons I am not like the mass effect 3 fanatics that demand a whole new ending thinking it is reasonable.(the new extened cut was fairly good by the way)

The weapons thing would still work since people would trade weapons for armor.

Silver weapons do more damage to undead, meaning vampires too. So if the crossbows aren't silver, bolts would be fine as well. And if swords can be made out of silver, I'm sure a crossbow would be fine.

The Silver Hand is the werewolf specific enemy.

meant to ask but can you clarify on it would be expensive to do so?

also I was just saying how no one in the fort sells their own weapons which is odd.

It's when the modders get the DLC to add these things to the game.

I hate the fact that dawnguard get the ability to turn into a vamp lord as well. The vamps don't even block out the sun. It makes who to join really one sided. Also, adding the fact that as a vampire you can't craft crossbows or bolts, but dawnguard can become vamp lord. Did someone actually think through these questlines, because it doesn't look like it.

I feel like it would have been cool to have sun perma blocked(dont see how it would change much npc still open shops at 9 am it just happens to be dark out all the time. I can see serana makeing you a vamp lod so that is understandable.

Yeah, but what's the point of joining the vamps when the dawnguard get almost everything they get and more?

The Dawnguard being able to turn Vampire Lord bugged me as well since that's why I joined Harkon. And being unable to craft bolts svcked because I've been using crossbows since I got my hands on one. I agree it's very one sided but at least you really can block out the sun and wreak havoc as a VL earlier.

yea but i heard that blocking out the sun only lasts 12 hours sad days, I did not think I ould be able to become a vampire lord after I joined the dawngaurd. makes it slighly easier to get the VL perk achivment.
