I've just recently bought Dawnguard and have got to the quest, 'Prophet'. I need to speak to the guards but I killed them just before the quest, will they ever re-spawn back? Otherwise I cant continue with the quest!

Talk to the kid in the town. He's got the info.

You don't have to talk to the guards, look for a little boy running around the Dragon Bridge town and he'll tell you something that'll update your quest and let you continue
