I started out the game with Janassa, from the Drunken Huntsman in Whiterun. I played with her as a follower for a great many levels. I sent her home for awhile and had Serana as a follower.

I noticed Serana could carry a LOT of stuff. I gave her several dragon bones and scales, a couple of greatswords and other weapons, gave her several pieces of armor and other odds and ends.

Then I went back to Jenassa, and... You know, I'm almost sure she could carry a lot more than what she is now. I'm sure of it. Very odd, but she can't carry much more now than a full suit of light armor, a few weapons (in this case an ebony longsword, a bow, a dagger) and an extra 20 to 30 pounds or so.

Can anyone confirm this happening to them? Is it because of Dawnguard or something else I'm overlooking.

This is the follower duplicating equipment bug. It's been around since Skyrim first came out.

PC users have the luxury of using console commands to fix this problem. For Xbox, you can *try* to use the Wabbajack reset method (make sure you take all their equipment first!), however, it hasn't worked for me.

Hmmm... I've played pre-Dawnguard Skyrim since the game came out, and, well, I'm pretty sure I've never run into this before. It's a little coincidental I would notice this just now.

I haven't noticed this because ever since dawnguard came out I haven't used any other follower except for serana.
