Never played a doom game but the trailer looks sweet! It kinda looks like rage. So do you think you will play the new doom?

Well it's not a new Doom, it's just Doom3 for new consoles, "remastered" I think.

Anyway, I'm a PC guy, but I'm glad people are getting Doom3 for their console

Yes it is quite awesome can,t wait,and there are seven new levels.
Oh and for the people being confused if it will be released for PC or not,Id said on twitter rigth now that it will be released for PC

YES, that is the extra info i wanted to hear!!!!

I liked Doom3, and I want to play the new levels!

I just wish they added some detail to the textures, to make it look as hi-def as Dead Space2. Still, I don't care that much for that.

At least I will play through this untill Doom4 is released. I am might pleased today.

I personally am really excited for this. Loved Doom 3 but sold my X-Box copies of it when I got rid of my X-Box. Hopefully they don't make too tedious of MP trophies, or none at all. (If they include the MP at all anyways) Still its going to be sweet!

it depends if Steam (or other online only DRM) is a requirement for the PC version or not

if online only DRM is needed then no, it's just another in a list of games I wont touch

edit: just seen the trailer & saw the steamworks logo at the end so it's a no-buy until proven otherwise.

Yup. Played DOOM 3 years ago on the Original Xbox. But this time i will play the 3 DOOM's on the PS3. My favorite System right now.

Depends how much I have to pay for the new 7 maps!
I have D3 on PC with its 2 expansions. Have PS3 as well but not getting it.
I feel this is made mainly for consoles. They get the new maps with original game.

This is what I've been waiting for! I also heard that they are including Doom 1 and 2 classics as well? That is so awesome even though I've played them before on my PC. Would be interesting to play them on my PS3. I wonder if there will be trophies for them or just Doom 3?

Hell yes I am. Even though I'm still REALLY MOTHERF[happiness!]CKING bitter at them for RAGE, I love the DOOM series (even DOOM II, even though it's the worst) and would gladly buy all those games I already have again. I'm a moron that way. Yeah, I'm serious, I'll buy DOOM 3 BFG edition.

I am really exited for this.. I loved DOOM 1&2 when I was younger but never actually got to play DOOM 3.. So to hear that all three are being re-released in a single package with upgraded graphics and extras I just can't wait for it..

Just really hope they include online and local coop/deathmatch modes for doom 3 and 2... If I hear that's confirmed it will be a day 1 buy for me!!

I'm really excited for this game, to be serious this will be my first Doom game.
Never really got to play any of the old Doom game like Doom, Doom 2, Doom 64,
and not even Doom 3. So, this is my chance to play D1, D2, and D3.

Hell yeah i am excited , i cant wait to buy it! i really dont remember but i played the first doom on a pc, i forgot. i never played Doom 2 or 3 so those two will be a new experience for me.Did Doom 1 came out for the nintendo 64? i swear remember playing it for the 64.Anyways ill be getting it for the ps3, i wish i had a good gaming pc so i could play it using all those cool mods.

Nintendo 64 actually got its own original Doom game, Doom 64, with different graphics, sound, and music from the other games, plus a new boss and weapon. So far it hasn't been re-released on any other system, though there's one or two fan remakes of it..

Yeah Doom is awesome , i would also play Quake and Turok and Duke nuke em, good times. :cool:

Well i did preorder until i found out it was Steam only FFS and the checkpoint saves kinda put me off aswell :down:

Smell like a bit of consolitus at least they didnt put regenerating health crap in (I Hope)
