I've noticed that I can upgrade Hjerim to get two children's beds. That's ideal for me since Hjerim is still my favorite home. But does anyone know if I can get pets if kids are living in the city? I'd like to get a pet fox.

Has anybody managed to get a pet in one of the regular homes?

It would be nice if you could get one of the dog followers to just stay at home once you build it. It could play with the kid and watch the place. You would really need it if you have that home that is down the road from that sacrificial altar.
