Total epicness

I just had one of the most epic moments in Skyrim EVER! After cutting some firewood to craft some steel bolts for my awesome crossbow (I never thought it would be that nice) in Riverwood, I was walking towards Whiterun when all of the sudden a Blood Dragon appeared (I'm only lv. 21, started over). I just bought the entire Dawnguard kit with the crazy awesome helmet and axes and thought: why not try it out. So I shot some bolts up his *** when suddenly he flew away. I ofcourse chased him down and found him fighting three vampires! I bolted one Vampire Fledling and cut down the other with Dawnbreaker (gotta love it). Then there was a Mistwalker Vampire left who was busy fighting the Dragon. So I weakened the Dragon with some bolts and eventually finished him. While his soul was being absorbed I quickly ran towards the Mistwalker and friggin decapited her in one hit with Dawnbreaker while she was standing right in front of the now dead Dragon. The kill cam jumped in simultaneously with the flashy soul absorption which resulted in one of the most epic scenes I've ever witnessed in Skyrim. Holy c-rap this is one of the best DLC's ever!!!!

the funny thing is, you didn't even need the dlc to make this happen. but i'm glad you love it nonetheless. it is pretty amazing!

I think the encounter might have been a Dawnguard add-on. They have put in new random encounters and some of them consists of random vampires

The DLC totally brought back my love for Skyrim. Didn't play it for about 2-3 months but the feeling of being a vampire slayer really is satisfying. Also can't wait to make another character to become a vampire for the first time (never really found it very interesting). My current character is a Redguard warrior. Yesterday I first started and finished the Companions questline because I felt being a Werewolf Harbinger really matched the entire idea of being a Dawnguard. Later stumbled upon the Break of Dawn quest which fitted in perfectly. Epic overload!

sounds like the only thing that could have made it better was the turn undead explosion dawnbreaker sometimes sets off. :)

Haha I know, would have made it even more epic. That undead explosion happened when I killed the other vampire though.
