Eye Colour : V

Hey all, just wondering how the vamp eye colour works? Is it random or do the lords and normal ones get different colours?

Vanilla skyrim vampires have pale skin and red and black eyes and less unique looking faces.

Volkihar Vampires (new type of vampire added in Dawnguard) have gold/amber glowing eyes (depends on the lighting, I'd say they are gold but people swear they are amber), gaunt faces and look very dead compared to the vanilla skyrim vampires...and of course unlike the lesser Skyrim vampires the Volkihar can turn into the vampire lord form.

It's funny, when I downloaded Dawnguard my normal vampire had those gold/amber eyes as well :/

This may or not be a spoiler so check at your own risk. :shrug:

Spoiler

If you are a normal vampire (not a vampire lord) you will have yellow and orange/red eyes.

If you become a vampire lord without being a vampire first you will have gold eyes.

If you are a normal vampire, and become a vampire lord you will retain the normal vampire eyes. This may be a bug

My Khajiit was a werewolf and just has regular pinkish eyes, from what I've read all over my race is just screwed. No spiffy Dovakiin eyes. :\

It doesn't appear they did any work with the beast races from what I can tell...why was that not taken care of in Beta?

Its hard to say because amber and gold look nearly the same to most people.
