Ever since i downloaded dawnguard i have had to save more ofthen than i do normally because for some reason it freezes alot and i have had the game since 11-11-11 and it never froze on me once and with dawnguard installed i have had 15 freezes already and its starting to get really annoying.

I've also had an increase in freezing, both on load screens and just during gameplay.

Same for me as well and during gameplay it always freezes when in VL form its really starting to bug me out -__-

I get a massive lag when trying to change forms too, sometimes I hit the guide button and it triggers it for some reason. The same goes for waiting in-game, it lags out horribly and the guide button seems to speed it along. No idea why though, wish it'd just work right.

I really hope they patchthis dlc soon

As do I, though I think it's not likely to happen until PC and PS3 get it. That is if it gets patched at all.

I have the same problem.
I rarely ever had my game freeze since I've had it (11.11.11). But since I've had the Dawnguard DLC, my game freezes on loading screens quite alot.
I've had it freeze 8 times in one day.

I guess they'll patch it up sooner or later.

my game too freezes at least 4 times a day I'm glad i always do a lot of manual saves just in case it freezes and i have to start all over again i really hate this i was so upset i thought it might be my xbox-360 so i clean it all the time and wipe the cd down and i also try to keep as little side quest on there as possible... since i downloaded Dawnguard it really has messed up my game and i wish we could have our money back for those who paid for it, it's clearly defective and they should be held responsible for returning our money.

I never had any freezes until i decided to play today, And for some reason 5 out of my 8 back up saves freeze. So I had to delete them and start the buggy Dawnguard dlc over. sigh

It disappated greatly after the 1.5 (I think that's the one), but it's back with a vengeance.

Surely with the buckets of money made on Skyrim they could hire someone competent to program for them, no?

Same here, before installing I had maybe a game freeze every 40 hours. Now it's about an average of 4, really HUGE difference. It has to be something with the DLC, unless it's very bad luck.

Kinda quit for now because of it, very annoying like you said.
