Hi!

I just bought the game from GOG in UK, and installed it via steam, but when I try to launch it steam prompts with the message "Game is currently unavailable (unspecified error)"

I′ve been looking through the forums, and so far all the solutions I′ve found failed. Here is what I′ve already tried:

- Restarting steam
- Checking game cache
- Updating all the system drivers, including the latest nvidia drivers for the GPU
- Downgrading PhysX to the game′s version (this apparently was causing the installer go crazy, but did not solve the launch problem)
- Reinstalling the game
- Reinstalling steam client (and tried both normal steam and beta client)
- Checking that all the steam files are writable, and not on read-only mode

Also, it is the only game that does this, all my other games on steam seem to work perfectly.

Here are my specs:

i7 2600k
16 GB RAM
Geforce GTX580
Windows 7 Ultimate, up-to-date

I have tried to run the game in another computer, the one I use at work, and it runs perfectly (don′t remember the exact specs, but it is a dual xeon and some quadro gpu), so it has to be tied to my system.

I can′t think of anything else besides formatting and reinstalling the entire system, which right now it′s a bit problematic for me. Any ideas on what can I do to actually make the game run, and what is preventing it from working?

I can put the dxdiag if it is of any help, or any other log that may be needed to find out what′s happening.
