Necromage in Dawnguard

Most of you are probably familiar with the famed "necromage" bonus that vampire players can obtain by purchasing the "necromage" perk in Alteration. So...Does it still work in Dawnguard? Any notable changes?

I'm also wondering about this. Does the necromage perk affect the VL, and are perks such as alteration's magic resist or racial passives still active while in VL form?

I'm assuming enchantments from items don't remain active when in VL form?

You get the necromage perk in restoration not alteration.

It seems to be working. I've been wrecking things at level 50 with incenerate. I think the most I had to hit any one vamp was three times.

I've had the necromage perk for many many levels before Dawnguard and I've noticed no changes.
