1 thing that annoys me about hearthfire......

Post » Fri Nov 16, 2012 12:10 pm

Is how i am not allowed to place rooms from one wing onto another for example I do not care for the alchemy, storage, or trophy rooms in the north wing so I would have liked if you could place a room from one of the other wings onto the north one, it just irks me how I'm forced to pick 3 options I don't really care for instead of being allowed to place whatever room i want anywhere.

Can't you just not build one of the wings?

i get what he's saying, instead of just not building a wing they should give us the option to build any room on any wing which i agree. still limit us to 3 wings but let us choose which room goes to wing.

this would make these custom houses more custom and unique to individuals

Yeah, I don't understand why Beth limited room placement like that. You would think that player choice was the reason for modular design.

That's not my point what I'm saying is why i can't I place the other rooms like the bedroom or kitchen in the north wing instead of being limited to 3 options.

Further proof that the general masses are never pleased with what they get. As if we needed more proof.

it's not free so we have a right to be dissatisfied with our purchase. imagine if you were hungry and ordered a pepperoni pizza, you patiently wait for the pizza to arrive and you're so hungry for it that you don't check the contents of the box before paying. When you finally throw open that lid in anticipation of delicious pepperoni pizza, you see a pizza with peppers on it. Its close to what you wanted but its not what you paid for...do you not say anything to the pizza place you gave your hard earned money to?

yea its like that :P

With Hearthfire you expected something that wasn't explicitly promised, so no, your example doesn't hold up. That said, you can still complain and hope Beth makes changes.

One thing that annoyed me is that there is only one architecture choice...I'd have liked other choices even if the furniture and room choice still added the same things.

But it is what you pay for. A build your own house-adoption dlc. They never falsely advertised or lied about anything.

Yes, how dare he. He should know by now that logic and being calm and decent is banned on the Internet! Rabblerabblerabble! :P

What? Not complaining is how product quality diminishes..

You only have one thing that irks you about Hearthfire? You're a better man than I.

Ive Un-installed and won't be downloading it again. They had many, many better places they could have put the lots. Not to mention being able to name the %^%$ house!! Little things and attention to detail really go a long way.
