Military and the Gaming Industry

Was browsing the internet on random robot stuff and came across this.

Just find it interesting how something that most people use for recreation can be used for other applications in other fields, hopefully less in military and more in construction or medical in future progress.

With all the drones and quadrotors and crap I wonder if the gaming industry might inspire other such inventions.

Still waiting on more of those VR simulations.

I'm pretty sure the military woild have figured something out, in no way does any military need the video game industry.

I didn't say they needed it, but still interesting how they adapt things to their field such as the various industries and actories that were making civilian products were converted to create vehicles and such for wars.
