Tallboys and Weepers, 2 questions

Post » Fri Nov 16, 2012 1:26 am

Okay, so I am keeping a low chaos run going. Have some kills, but thus far, bodies have not been found, etc., so I am getting Low Chaos on my various missions. I'm at the Boyle estate and I am curious about

1. Killing Weepers. I panicked, in a house where there were three of them, and a rune and bone charm, so I ended up killing all three. They are high up, behind a barricade. Seems unlikely that they would be discovered. Will that cause any rise in potential chaos? Does killing any weeper, even if you leave the bodies, increase chaos particularly? Do they count as civilian kills? (In the second weeper house in the district, I didn't kill any of them, just got by a bunch and choked out the one that had left the group.)

2. Is there a way to take down Tallboys non-lethally? I can zip around when they are not facing my way, so it's not a problem of getting by them for the most part. But I was curious how you would take one out, assuming you wanted to. I mean, I figure I can posess one, but what happens when I release? They are disoriented for a few seconds, but you can't bring them down non-lethally, right?

(And just for giggles, if you do want to take one out lethally, what's the best way? Shoot the whale juice pack?)

Killing weepers will raise the chaos, but not that much, I'm sure you will still get a low chaos. You really have to go on a mass murder spree to get high chaos, so you have a decent safety margin to work with.

No non-lethal way of taking down the Tallboy as far as I know, but I haven't really tried either so maybe I missed something. My favorite way of taking down a Tallboy is by sneaking from behind, do a double jump (upgraded agility) so you're just behind him and then do the knife thing.

As for the weepers I think it's as Freddo said it will raise chaos but you get a buffer zone of some kills before you are high chaos I've killed 10 or 11 npcs before and still got low chaos before.

As for taken down tall boys I like to freeze time then blink behind them and stab them with the sword it can be quite fun, also there is an achievement for taking down a tall boy with nothing but a sword.

Also for putting them to sleep you can't dropped alot of sleep darts into them and not one went down, plus I think I read on one of those loading screens that they have too much armor for that to work. The other way that might be fun is as mentioned shooting the whale tank. Otherwise I think you just have to sneak by them.
