Despite PlayStation 3 not having it yet uh folks who HAVE a ps3 might want to read the review FIRST before buying it just for safety precautions and the title of this topic should offer you a clear notation once you read the review

I've not gotten very far in the main quest but there are some cool new Dwemer ruins some new random things that happen out in the wild etc.. Most of any TES game is fetch that kill that, so why are people shocked when an add on comes out that is in the very style of the game.

You wouldn't really know until you tried, I've played over 20hrs of Dawnguard and still haven't done everything it offers.

I think the major issue was that fans were expecting that this was going to take place OUTSIDE of Skyrim and not INSIDE of skyrim....Dawnguard offered more content and less Elder Scrolls and it just added new areas within the original game ugh and here i thought i get to see the Imperial City or go to High Rock or Morrowind oh well

So far what I have played, I like it.

There's new quests + side quests, items (Crossbow, I like it!), couple of shouts, factions, NPCs, creatures, dungeons and places.

Some of those new dungeons looks beautiful and some of them are basically size of a Blackreach.

Yes, Soul Crain is inside Skyrim, but Shivering Isles was inside Cyrodiil too. You entered there from Cyrodiil as you enter Soul Crain from Skyrim.

I was hopping for more but I never read anything that said your getting new land mass. That may come at a latter date. You did get more Elder Scrolls in the land of Skyrim.

I don't think you have the right to be upset that a game called Skyrim is taking place in Skyrim, and personally I'd much rather have DLC integrated into the core game than just be something completely separate (though this requires the DLC to include updates to most if not all factions, something Dawnguard didn't do).

The real question, looking at all the bugs that haven't been addressed yet, is was Dawnguard ready for ANY users, be they Xbox, PS3, or PC?

I was not expecting that.
This game is Skyrim; why wouldn't the majority of the action be taking place there?

Well they've also said that this isn't going to be their ONLY add-on/DLC whatever you wanna call it. We don't know what they have planned for the future stuff.

A lot of people were, but they have only themselves to blame. SI was used as a comparison in regards to base land size which was added - base land mass does not equate to style.

No, what I expected was what I got - the KotN of this game, but a much much MUCH better stab at that DLC style. That's what I got, and I'm satisfied. Just because people made wild assumptions and took them as gospel, we are going to slam a perfectly good DLC? Riiiight...
