The english DLC is ^^ up on air on Xbox's website.

You can get REFUNDED for the german version of the DLC, I just tried it out!

Ask for Dustin, if there is any support member saying something different.

Sven: First steps should be done already. Just yesterday I erased the German DLC from my Xbox ^^ and did delete the cache.

This was ^^ the chat log I had with the guy from the support. Extra friendly, very helpful ^^ and so reasoning .

He said it is no problem with refunding since its the same DLC just in a different language ^^.

well with us germans it doesn't work that way (or maybe i got a crappy support guy) but what they did do for me was make me buy the UK version but they gave me the points back, so i guess if you have 1600 points already ur set ^^... otherwise be prepared to spend another 20 euros haha

hmmm might be that you got for real a crappy support guy XD. ^^ That guy that I had told me he actually preferred if most of the people may take contact with him, that's why I suggest to talk to him instead to others. BEcause there might be like in every job its the case, people who don't understand anything XD but to sit and make money haha.

at least you got your points back afterwards, although its strange matter of solving things haha.

Guess however, you may have a use for them, perhaps for Halo 4 content in november? *q*

hi i live in france and i have the same problem as other many people i bought the UK Skyrim and my Dawnguard is in french so i can't get the update

i can't find the english dlc on xbox website where did you get it ? and did you call microsoft support ?

=) Try not using your Xbox Live on your Xbox to get the DLC ^^

connect with your internet to xbox.com and search for the English version of DAwnguard.

Ask help of a support member and they should refund you for the DLC in french and ^^ give you your points back so you can get the English Dawnguard

Thanks for your answer , i did an other research using google and it find the english version but when i want to dl it it says it's the french one...

I just went to the french XBox-website at http://www.xbox.com/fr-FR/ and did a search for Dawnguard. It only came up with the french DLC. It seems there is only the french version available in your Marketplace.

well then i'm owned just have to hope that Bethesda do something for the players who want original version , anyway thanks for your help

Rediculous that you guys have to jump through hoops like this. I'm glad you're finding ways to sort it out.

You should actually contact the Microsoft Support Team. I guess they have made an agreement with Bethesda to make the English DLC only available in Germany, Austria or Luxemburg.

Since ^^ we have posted here very often that we are in vain that we cannot play the English DLC since w ehave UK versions of Skyrim.

I thought so far, that Microsoft ^^ did make it available for everyone but it seems still only in our region code.

Please contact them, I'm sure in few days you may have your answer and the DLC available for you.

Better you contact the MS support before you buy the other DLC ^^

In my case, they have refund me for the points that I have spent on the German content, so I could initially buy the DLC in English .

But look if you can get the above stated Support man Dustin. He knows about the case and should help you the same way as he did to me .

He told me that not every support member acts the same way. ^^ Perhaps you get refunded first, or afterwards .

Glad you guys found out about this. I received confirmation this morning that English is available in Germany.

For anybody who is going to ask MS for a refund: You will have to buy the new dlc first and then contact MS. I was told by support staff that the other way round they won't be able to give you your points back. (I tried this with Austrian support staff)

I just contacted Microsoft support, explain my situation, but Microsoft can not do anything for me (only the French version is available on French market no English version unlike Germany).
They can not unlock the DLC on my US account... I mean they can if I pay twice of course.

So, maybe, the solution will be to let me access to the update...

The support guy told me that I must ask Bethesda... I sent them a message weeks ago, no answer (yet?), and I guess I am on the official forum.
I saved the conversation with Microsoft support.

So if anyone have an idea I will reallly appreciate, I mean I can t play for weeks now...

Same for me ... I'm french, and i have the UK version. I can't download it. An answer will be great ! Why there's this region lock in france ? ... Please help us ! We want pay for a DLC, and we can't (or we need to make a uk account etc ..) it's just insane ...

people here do Bethesda job, help them imporving/fixing their products... but Bethesda can not just care about my problem (I am not alone).
