Please Enable Console in game cheats

Dishonored is a fantastic game! I absolutely love it!
I gobbled it up in a couple days and loved every minute of it, now I want to run though it again but with all my toys unlocked from the start this time ... but I can't because there is no console to give myself Runes, Upgrades and Charms from. :(

Please, Arkane, enable the durn console!

Yeah. I would love to see some cheats for this game, myself (PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 versions). Watching the early gameplay videos with the developers playing with all Powers unlocked, actually, looked really fun (to me anyways). Hopefully, if there are no cheats that they might add cheats somehow (possibly with a patch/title update) or add cheat items as DLC. For example, they could release some cheats in the form of various Bone Charms. These Bone Charms could allow for Super Health Regeneration, Super Mana Regeneration, All Runes Collected (have all available Runes), Immortality, Endless Mana, Instant Power (don't need Runes to unlock Powers), Super Assassin (Unlimited Ammo and All Weapons/Weapon Upgrades Unlocked) and Outsider Mode (Invincibility, Unlimited Mana, and All Powers Unlocked). These are just examples, but I think you all get the general idea. So, maybe this is something for the developers to consider.

Sadly there are many game programmers (imho) these days that are just not that smart as game programmers. They are called mediocre programmers. They just do not know how to do what you're asking. I wish they would go back to school and learn how to properly program a game completely.

True ... there are a lot of second-rate games out there, they were intended to be, but I thought that DisHonored would not be showing the characteristics of a second-rate game ... especially coming from Bethesda.

Lack of a command console is just one of many shortcomings in DisHonored.

Now ... with that being said ... let me point out at least one good thing: The save game system in DisHonored is up to proper gaming standards.

The lack of a game console have nothing to do with programmering incompetence. It's a design decision, nothing more.
