For the past two days I've just been building one different wing for my house the fully furnishing it to see how it looks. Then I just reload the game again and do the same thing with another wing until I have experimented with all nine wings.not only that I have had a look at what facilities have been on offer at all the building sites. So now I feel that I can start building for real and get all my 3 houses looking just the way I want them to be rather than regretting something when its too late to fix it. So has anyone else tried the dlc out first or have you just jumped in at the deep end and just see what happens?

i jumped right in.. Theres nothing I didn't want in my house besides barrels so it wasnt too hard designing the interior... The only trouble i had with wings was deciding if i wanted a storage room or a trophy room.

That's actually how I go about plenty of things in Skyrim. I log in a save and make sure I do everything just right.

I'm basically giving each house a theme. One is a house just for living in.

One is going to have the greenhouse and armoury and storage.

One is going to have the three towers for wizarding.

Can anyone tell me which house is furthest from civilisation/roads?

Seems like a good way to break the continuity of your game.
