My Very Own Village! Wow

Post » Fri Nov 16, 2012 9:23 am

I was amazed as I approached my new holding.

I saw a house... then a couple of houses... then oh my goodness... I've got an entire VILLAGE!

Then I realised I had highlighted the wrong quest and walked on to Riverwood.

Doubled back and found my box and plans.

It amazes me what people expect for $5.

There isn't just one but three locations. That means we now have a house in each hold. Three rural homes (obviously bigger due to land always being cheaper away from the city) and we have four in the city.

That just leaves Winterhold which we all know seriously needs rebuilding. Now we've had a taste to build - expect good things to come :) we could even become the Jarl.

Hopefully a complete Winterhold city rebuild will come that is equally priced

Well I hope I didn't come accross as complaining.

I just thought it was funny, I was expecting to find a small hut... thought I'd seen it... suddenly thought I'd bought an entire town... and then finally realised I'd walked into Riverwood.

In "Oblvion" 'The Wizard's Tower' was one of my favourite DLC's.

Well, you have cooler quarters than four of the jarls.

hah OP that reminds me of an IRL dream I had, I woke up utterly convinced I'd won the lottery and I was going to walk out my door and take that Ferrari F430 I'd bought for a cruise. Then cold, hard, CRUSHING reality set in. Man, that was depressing....

Its the only one I've ever had. I just remember it because I woke up with the biggest smile ever plastered across my face, and got all the way downstairs and up to the front door (to admire the new wheels) before I twigged. It was so horrible. And I am SO GLAD no-one else was home to witness that, I felt a proper tool :D

There's a mod for PC that lets you rule your own city.

Just saying if a modder could let you do it, then Bethesda should be able to. It'd be much higher quality.
