First of all, assuming that it will ever come to PS3.

There is a small a chance that this one will be different from the PC beta and the one yet to be released on the xbox.

I'm saying that because of the "close working with sony" that is said to be happening since the release of 1.7 and because If they intend to release "new content" to ps3 under the "new quality standards" that the devs said to have adopted, either something big must have been done under the "General memory and stability improvements" or the patch will include more subtopics for the ps3 (other than enabling the DLC menu)

Even if the "new content" is only amalgam set of armors and weapons from all the existing dlcs. I doubt my game could take any DLC under any quality standard since 1.7. Which, by the way, ruined my game reducing the draw distances in such a way that is impossible to play as an archer, increased the frame drops and the texture pop-in in a depressing way.

I lost faith on this game being fixed once for all, but never hope on small improvement.
